Compte rendu...
Parti en voiture de France, des heures et des heures de route, pour passer 2 jours en Espagne très sympas en compagnie de ma femme, mes amis Thierry et Dominique. Arrivés à Barcelone, nous devions chercher un endroit pour dormir, nous avons tourné dans la ville avant que notre ami Thierry nous trouve une "pension de famille" tenue par des chinois espagnols... Réservation faite, nous devions nous dépêcher pour rencontrer le grand club espagnol, l'European BruceLee Club. En premier, une projection "Bruce Lee" était organisée dans un magnifique et immense cinéma IMAX, Bruce Lee en écran géant, tout à fait génial. Après le cinéma, nous retournions à "l'hôtel", et nous découvrions les chambres, un moment très "marrant", des chambres très sales, le genre de chambres qui devaient être louées à l'heure si vous voyez ce que je veux dire LOL Bref, nous nous changeons pour rejoindre le groupe espagnol qui avait réservé un grand restaurant, où était organisé une conférence avec entre autre Marcos Ocana (qui a écrit le très bon livre, Bruce Lee derrière la Légende...pour moi le meilleur). Mon ami Thierry me fit remarquer que derrière nous il y avait l'impressionnant Tommy Carruthers, professeur de Jeet Kune Do original, l'art martial de Bruce Lee, pour moi le seul homme actuel avec une force et une rapidité digne du Petit Dragon, on en profite donc pour lui demander des photos avec lui, qu'il accepte volontiers. Ensuite l'arrivée tant attendu de Malisa Longo et son mari Riccardo Billi (deux des acteurs du film de Bruce Lee, la fureur du dragon), des applaudissements retentissent... (personnellement je pensais que Riccardo Billi, le mari de Malisa était mort depuis longtemps, vu que personne n'avait parlé de lui pendant toutes ces années). La conférence terminée, vient ensuite les séances dédicaces, et là je me suis dit que cela allait être très dur d'avoir un autographe parce qu'il y avait beaucoup de monde devant leurs tables... Mais j'ai la chance que Malisa Longo me reconnaisse (j'avais déjà contact avec Malisa sur Facebook), elle s'écrie, "Lionel, mon ami de facebook...", je n'y croyais pas, surtout quand elle nous fit passer devant tout le monde afin de m'offrir quelques dédicaces... et j'en profite pour lui donner ainsi qu'à Riccardo quelques cadeaux que j'avais préparé pour eux, ce qui leur fit très plaisir. S'en suit des séances photos avec eux, ma femme et mon ami Thierry (je tiens à remercier aussi notre ami Dominique qui a fait beaucoup de photos de nous) Le temps passait très (trop) vite, surtout avec l'accueil chaleureux des espagnols, des grands fans étaient au rendez-vous, et nous étions heureux que notre petit groupe de Français puissent participer à cette convention. Mon ami Thierry connaissant déjà le groupe nous fait les présentations, en sachant que quelques espagnols connaissaient ma collection via mon site web... Il était déjà l'heure d'aller manger, on nous emmena dans une grande pièce où des tables étaient prêtent à nous recevoir. Tout autour était disposer de très belles collections, que je m'empresse d'aller regarder tout au long du dîner. Une bonne ambiance était à toutes les tables, le repas délicieux... et une table était réservée pour les "stars" que je me permet d'aller demander un autographe à Tommy Carruthers, il me signa une photo pour moi et une pour mon fils, j'étais très content. A peine retourné à ma table pour retrouver mes amis et ma femme, monsieur Riccardo Billi nous a fait la surprise de nous rejoindre et s'asseya avec nous, me remerçiant encore pour les cadeaux que Thierry et moi lui avions offerts... Du coup, mon ami Thierry grand spécialiste de Bruce Lee ne voula pas perdre ce moment avec Riccardo et nous commençions donc à discuter avec lui. Quand il jouait avec Bruce dans la fureur du dragon, Riccardo était l'homme qui a fait découvrir Rome à Bruce Lee, et ainsi l'aider pour le tournage du film. Le moment priviligié avec ce monsieur, et la soirée qui passe très vite... mais la fin de soirée qui approche, une "tombola" a été organisée pour remercier toutes les personnes présentes à la soirée (ma femme me gagna même une figurine que Malisa Longo lui donna en personne), des t-shirts ont été distribués à tous pour la photo de groupe, magnifique souvenir et ensuite des cadeaux donnés aux "stars" de cette convention. La soirée se terminant entre rigolade, anecdotes, histoire sur Bruce, visite des collections... des musiciens finissent la soirée dans la même bonne humeur et danse pour ceux qui le souhaitaient, hein Thierry ? "Rosetooooo" LOL Nous faisions partis des gens qui sommes restés jusqu'à la fin de cette superbe soirée, mais il était tant de rentrer, la fatigue arrivait surtout avec les heures de route pour venir en Espagne. Nous quittions donc le restaurant en remerçiant les organisateurs de cette 8ème convention, des gens vraiment sympas, très fans, très "professionnels". Il était temps de retourner dans notre "hôtel de passe" LOL tout le monde tomba de fatigue pour repartir le lendemain sans avoir la chance d'assiter au stage de Jeet Kune Do de Tommy Carruthers vu que nous ne sommes pas pratiquants, mais un beau souvenir de ce moment fut gravé dans nos mémoires. Encore un grand merci aux espagnols.À propos de l'événement...

Debriefing...
Drive away from France, hours and hours away, to spend 2 days in Spain very nice with my wife, my friends Thierry and Dominique. Arrived in Barcelona, we had to look for a place to sleep, we shot in the city before our friend Thierry finds us a "pension" held by Spanish Chinese... Reservation made, we had to hurry to meet the big Spanish club, the European BruceLee Club. First, a projection "Bruce Lee" was organized in a magnificent and huge IMAX cinema, Bruce Lee giant screen, quite great. After the cinema, we went back to "the hotel", and we discovered the rooms, a very "funny" moment, very dirty rooms, the kind of rooms that had to be rented by the hour if you see what I want say LOL In short, we change to join the Spanish group who had booked a large restaurant, where was organized a conference with among others Marcos Ocana (who wrote the very good book, Bruce Lee derrière la Légende...for me the best). My friend Thierry pointed out that behind us was the impressive Tommy Carruthers, original Jeet Kune Do teacher, the martial art of Bruce Lee, for me the only current man with a strength and speed worthy of the Little Dragon, so we take the opportunity to ask for photos with him, he gladly accepts. Then the long-awaited arrival of Malisa Longo and her husband Riccardo Billi (two of Bruce Lee's film actors, the way of the dragon), applause sounds ... (I personally thought that Riccardo Billi, Malisa's husband had been dead for a long time, since no one had talked about him for all those years). The conference ended, then the signing sessions, and then I told myself that it would be very hard to have an autograph because there were a lot of people at their tables... MI'm lucky that Malisa Longo recognizes me (I already had contact with Malisa on Facebook), she exclaims, "Lionel, my facebook friend ...", I did not believe it, especially when she made us pass in front of everyone to offer me some dedications ... and I take this opportunity to give him and Riccardo some gifts that I had prepared for them, which made them very happy. This is followed by photo shoots with them, my wife and my friend Thierry (I also want to thank our friend Dominique who made a lot of pictures of us) Time was going very (too) fast, especially with the warm welcome of Spanish, big fans got together, and we were happy that our small group of French people could participate in this convention. My friend Thierry, who already knows the group, makes the presentations, knowing that some Spaniards knew my collection via my website... It was already time to eat, we were taken to a large room where tables were ready to receive us. All around was to have very beautiful collections, which I hasten to go and watch throughout the dinner. A good atmosphere was at all tables, the meal was delicious ... and a table was reserved for the "stars" that I allow myself to go and ask for an autograph to Tommy Carruthers, he signed me a picture for me and one for my son, I was very happy. Just returned to my table to find my friends and my wife, Mr. Riccardo Billi surprised us to join us and sat down with us, still thanking me for the gifts that Thierry and I had offered... As a result, my friend Thierry, a great Bruce Lee specialist, did not want to lose this moment with Riccardo and so we began to discuss with him. When he was playing with Bruce in the way of the dragon, Riccardo was the man who made Rome discover Bruce Lee, and thus help him filming the film. The special moment with this gentleman, and the evening that passes very quickly ... but the late evening approaching, a "lottery" was organized to thank everyone present at the party (my wife even won me a figure that Malisa Longo gave him in person), t-shirts were distributed to all for the group photo, beautiful souvenir and then gifts given to the "stars" of this convention. The evening ending with fun, anecdotes, story about Bruce, visit of the collections... musicians end the evening in the same good mood and dance for those who wish it, eh Thierry? "Rosetooooo" LOL We were part of the people who stayed until the end of this great evening, but it was so much to return, the fatigue arrived especially with the hours of road to come to Spain. So we left the restaurant by congratulating the organizers of this 8th convention, people really nice, very fans, very "professional". IIt was time to go back to our "nice girls hotel" LOL everyone fell from tired to leave the next day without having the chance to attend Tommy Carruthers' Jeet Kune Do workshop since we are not practicing, but a beautiful memory of that moment was engraved in our memories.
